Dracula lotax x sib, 2" or 3" pots, Plant blooms in the spring with a single 8 cm wide flower, but we find they are blooming most any time of the year due to domestic growing. These being offered are full sized plants, and they are blooming size. These are very slow bloomers, meaning they can be in spike for a few months before finally blooming. It takes them a while, but rewarding :-)
These are very sensitive to water and even rain water can cause browning tips. It's a very common issue.
DRACULA LOTAX SPIKES = A lotax spike will begin to look like a white root, same size, same area, until it's about 1/4"-1/2" long. At that point the spike will begin pointing upward and start turning a dark burgundy color with a whit tip. This spike will remain almost the size of a hair as it grows upward. When the spike tip gets close to the top of the foliage it will begin expanding at the tip. The tip will begin getting fat, triangular in shape and eventually open. The lotax spikes do take a while to grow and bloom, sometimes up to a month or longer. Have patience, it's worth seeing their little smiling face :-)

Dracula Lorax orchid
