In 16 years of business, we've never had a claim for a frozen plant when using our Winter Insurance! *Exception, 2020 Winter, UPS caused a delay and issues were resolved reimbursements/re-ships.
- Only 1 heat pack per order is necessary. Heat packs work for about 72 hours and then they go cold. It's not uncommon for a heat pack to be cold upon arrival when shipping takes 3-4 days. Heat packs are expected to work for all or the majority of their journey.
- We monitor weather conditions daily from the National Weather Service and do our best to make the best decision for the following:
*Heat packs are required when your delivery day high temps are between 35F-50F. Without a heat pack we will hold your order until daytime highs are above 50F.
*We will not ship any order if your delivery day high temps are 35F or lower. We will hold all orders until high temps are above 35F with a heat pack ordered.

We readily monitor weather conditions. If conditions are below 35F on/around delivery day, we will hold orders until we determine they are safe for release with the heat pack. Orders without heat packs do not ship until weather conditions are 50F or better on/around delivery day.
With this insurance, plants damaged from cold can be claimed by submitting a request to
[email protected] with pictures if requested.
We will replace plants which result in cold damage or offer store credit.
*Pending damage and condition, original plant may need to be shipped back prior to sending a replacement.
