- This blend is especially made to keep your orchids healthy and happy with ease. Our premium orchid mix contains the finest ingredients of sponge rock & traditional fir bark. These ingredients improve aeration and drainage that most epiphytes (tree-loving orchids) require. How to choose? Our Medium bark mix is great most orchids including Cattleya, Phalaenopsis, Vanda and other thick-root growing epiphytes. Our Fine bark mix is great for terrestrial or moist-loving orchids including the Paphiopedilum or seedlings. Our Large bark mix is great for Cattleya and those orchids which prefer to dry a bit more quickly and often.
This bag provides medium for 2-3 pots (4" in size) and is great for those not wanting to purchase excessive amounts of bark.
